I attend a Wednesday evening Bible study class. We are using this book in class.
We have read the first two chapters. These chapters are good. I like the reflective questions at the end of each chapter. I have read one of his books before and think
Dallas Willard is a very good writer.

Summary: "Clarity of thought is a gift from God."

To say that this book is a must read would be an understatement. I have read the book twice and am going to read it again when I facilitate a book study of this with 20 to 30 people starting in September 2010. Dallas Willard has a gift of clarity that makes spiritual truths understandable and translatable to our present realities. Read any of Dallas Willard's books and you will be blessed with new insights that will be encouragement to you in your faith walk.

if you want to know how to hear from God this is a good book- but this book is not the kind of book you can rush through- this book will make you read a page or 2 and then see quietly and tell God what you want to know and then you gotta wait on him- This book teaches you to hang out with God
